WhatsApp executives announced the upcoming arrival of new features on their messaging application during an update. Inspired by Snapchat, an option will allow you to delete messages for all the recipients of the same conversation.
The WhatsApp messaging platform will soon add a new feature to its mobile application, offering to delete messages for all recipients of a conversation. This change is similar to an option found on the Snapchat side, reports Fredzone according to information from the specialized site WABetaInfo.
Other changes could appear in a future update, as announced by Mark Zuckerberg and Will Cathcart, the manager of this Facebook subsidiary. Support for the app on multiple devices – probably four – could also arrive.
Ephemeral messages but also photos and videos
The “Disappearance” mode will also be added to WhatsApp to allow its users to send ephemeral messages. This feature will be enabled by default, whether for private or group chats.
The option has already appeared on Facebook and Instagram for a while, with the “Vanish” mode. Regarding WhatsApp, photos and videos can also be deleted after viewing, thanks to the new “View Once” feature.
