On WhatsApp it is now possible to listen to audio messages even at double the speed. The novelty is part of the latest application update, already available for iPhone users on the App Store. The new function allows you to choose the speed at which to listen to each voice message received thanks to the 1x (standard speed), 1.5x (accelerated version) and 2x (twice the speed) keys.
To use the new feature, you need to update the app. To do this, simply go to the App Store, search for ‘WhatsApp’ and click on ‘update’. The news was heavily commented on on social networks and in particular on Twitter, where the hashtag #WhatsApp is trending. Many speak of it as the “turning point we needed”, given the possibility of listening to even very long messages in shorter times.
