Focus on augmented reality with a depth sensor
One of the areas Apple seems to be focusing on with the new product line is augmented reality (AR). For example, the Pro and Pro Max variant of the latest iPhone would be equipped with an extra depth sensor. This depth sensor is currently also used in the already introduced iPad Pro from 2020. There we know this sensor as the LiDAR scanner. The additional depth sensor is combined with a triple camera in the Pro and Pro Max versions. The base model and the Mini variant are equipped with a dual camera.
Faster switching between apps
Each of the models from the new product series seems to be equipped with an A14 Bionic processor. In addition, the Pro and Pro Max versions are allocated more RAM than models from previous years. A combination of both will make it even easier to quickly switch between different apps. This makes it very easy to quickly take a photo or send a message while playing a game. The chance of stuttering or lag seems small with this powerful processor.
Complementing the addition of more RAM is the fact that every iPhone model this year would come with 128 GB of internal storage. It would be possible to expand that storage up to 512 GB.
Tighter look with the new iPhone
Finally, the new iPhone seems to have a sleeker appearance than its predecessors. Apple is going back to the flat side, which we know from the iPhone 5S. In addition, the Mini version is smaller than its predecessors, with a size of 5.4 inches. Are you looking for a relatively large device? Then choose the Pro Max version! With its 6.7 inch, this model is the largest smartphone that Apple has introduced to date.
